Hinges coming to life

Jig for gluing/assembling hinges

Had the time today to put together a simple jig for aligning the hinge pieces when gluing. Only using cracy glue/cyanoacrylate for the moment, will try to get hold of chloroform later. It dissolves the acrylic instead of gluing, so it will both be stronger and look better. And it’s a bit more dangerous to use.

Getting some new ideas on how I can tweak the design so it’s easier to put together. I’ll post new drawings later.

So, Happy New Year! Late February there will be a new purse… hopefully =)

Disagree, have a comment or want to pitch in? Youre thoughts are more than welcome =)
